They built a 255 with the 6.2 about a year ago or so and it ran low 60's. The price point is great on that motor and the power to weight ratio was very similar to the 8.2 if I remember.

It sure seems that way. The Tahiti 247 (tahiti247xs"s boat) with the 350 hp 6.2 seems to run about the same speed as a standard 496/8.2.
Boat will hit low 60s I'll bet.

Their boat caught fire and was totaled. It was a great old Campbell, exact same colors.
