Grads and Other Tahoe Peeps- Do you guys know anything about RV Campgrounds up there? Where to camp, a place big enough for a 40' MH. I have looked online and a few RV sites but hard to find any info from the blue hairs that post on those sites. Would like to do a trip up there this year before the seasons change but not sure where to stay.
Grads, this is the kinda stuff your good at. Stick with it
Saw a report of 4 inches of snow up at Kirkwood end of last week. Calling for rain and possible snow showers up at Tahoe this weekend.
So school me....
If you were to plan the ultimate week in Tahoe....what would your itinerary be? Where would you stay, eat, boat, etc. and what’s the best time of year?
Awesome thanks for the tips! Am I correct in remembering you are not allowed to Beach your boat in Tahoe?I have a lot of great memories at Zephyr Cove. You can camp, RV, or rent a cabin. We rented cabins a few times, and loved it. So close to the water, with a bar, food etc.
As far as the time of the year, you never know. It snowed on the 4th of July one year when I lived up that way. You can VRBO cabins all over the place, but i always loved how close you could be to the water at Zephyr. If you are dragging a boat, you used to be able to anchor just off the beach. I would say, mid to late July, through August if you want to be on the water.

It depends on what you're interested in doing. If it's going to be a boating vacation, staying in the Keys is a must.So school me....
