Brothers 2017 Truck Show

Jr and I went to the truck show this morning at Canyon RV Park in Anaheim Hills?? We have been several times before but this year clearly had way more trucks then in the past. We got there around 8:30 or so and there was a line of trucks of least a mile long to get in!!! That is in addition to the already full park area!!!! The one thing that we did notice from past years events is that there had to be 20 C10's to almost every other truck!! I love the C10 myself but Jr's take was similar to going to the LA Roadster Show in Pomona on Fathers Day "wait look there is another red 32"!!!! JA!!!!

This truck looks stock but is anything but!!!

"Square Bodies" are becoming a thing, I think in part bc the price of 67-72 trucks are off the charts!!!! Met the guy who has the 3+3 powder blue Camper Special dually who is from Ventura!!! LOL Small World....

They call the yellow crew cab "Yellowstone" and the C10 guys have quite a following, even have their own podcast show !!!! Like RDP???? The green crew cab reminded me of a park ranger truck, maybe a cool park ranger !!!! lol !!!

Misc trucks... I lean towards the early stuff while Jr likes the later stuff..... A couple of possible projects.... looked like they were rough but if you had the energy to build it!!!!
The black task force truck was done right. Someone spent a lot of time working out the details. Notice how all the edges of the door are nicely rounded and finished!!! Very well done and a subtle custom touch that most might not see.

The square body hauler was a serious time warp!!!!

The silver truck was too smooth... A friend of the owner said the owner past on a 6 figure offer to sell!!! The blue sub would make an excellent "tow car"!!!

The red dually had what look like a two speed rear end with a diesel power plant!!!!

I have a soft spot for blazers, both 4wheel and the slammed kind... I like this guys take on the back seat, obviously for his minions!!!! Nicely done.

The tan colored early 5 window was over the top clean and the guy said he had spent the 2 1/2 years building it!!!!! Very nice!!!!

And the chopped top black 55/56.... I am not a fan of chopped tops on these trucks, to me it just does not look right, but what caught my eye was the guy driving it had to be 80-85 years old and he had his lady ridin right next to him (about the same age) and I was like... you go grandpa.... I wanna be just like you when I am pushin 80!!!!! his truck was bad ass too!!!!

On a side note, the fake patina is sofa king lame.

Tank, lol !!!! we said the same thing when we saw the fake patina..... there are some guys who really have it down, but that guy wasn't one of them!!! nice try....

hahahaha...yea, I guess if you HAAAAVE to have it and you can get someone to do it so good that you can't tell, then that's cool. However, if you can tell it's not original then that shits lame.

By the way, that Blazer is fuckin insane. Totally on the same page as you - laid or lifted, they're just bad ass
