This machine probably makes the most money (profit) of any of the machines in my shop. No coolant, small footprint, very little maintenance, and runs on 110v. It will hold + or - .00005 all day. Getting it up to temp is the trick. Once it's warmed up, it's on baby! I have a tolerance of + or - .0002 on the dia on these parts.

Awesome stuff. My old man was a machinist for 40 years cutting huge rings for Rolls Royce and Boeing. I got into the quality department in a fairly large shop with mostly CNC's and hand full of hand crankers. Now I'm run the quality department for a place that has only old school equipment (VTL's and Lathes) with some having DRO's.

Awesome little machines.

I note some nice upgrades with the work light and boombox options!
