Thought I'd post some pics. Just added Seadek to my swimsteps.

I used Blue Seas out of San Diego. Quick and easy to work with. Highly recommended.

The process takes a couple of weeks due to making the templets and shipping them back and forth for fit and corrections. The actual making of the pads is very quick and install was easy (at least for this size project)

Makes a whole lot of difference on the steps.

Without the Seadek it was nearly impossible and very uncomfortable to sit on the steps. With the angle of the boat and the short step it was hard to stay seated on the steps without feeling like you're gonna slip into the lake.

Now the Seadek grips your ass so you don't feel like you're gonna slide...

And..... of course the wife approves! Money well spent! IMG_3034.jpg IMG_3035.jpg

That looks awesome. Just received my sample pack. Trying to decide on doing new carpet or this for my floors.

Looks good. I'm planning on adding that to the NuEra this year.

How thick is it? Thinking of doing this to be easier on the knees.

I used 2 color, I believe the 5mm thick.. You can also get 3 color which will be thicker... each color is another thickness of material

The brochure notes optional thickness from 5mm up.

Definitely a knee reliever, even at 5mm.

What was the rough cost for that?

I am thinking of making some new aluminum swim steps for my boat and adding Seadek.

My swim step is a tubular design, trying to envision a way to add that so it wont look weird. Had it powder coated and she is a tad slick.
