I work for a brake parts company, as such, I have visibility of what is obsolete, but folks still call for it on occasion. These are for a 3 year run of Brazilian made Ford medium duty trucks, the master cylinder reservoirs are a lousy design and crack. Only the cylinders are still available...nobody ever tooled up the reservoir in the aftermarket and now demand is too low to make it worthwhile...except for me.

These little guys adapt a universal reservoir to the master cylinder. I sell about 10/year. Takes me an hour or so to make a run. I usually do 8 at a lime, but I ran out of hex stock, so tonight I did 6. My pricing is stupid high, but when I'm the only game in town and it's still cheaper than a new truck, I get it without question.

OP 1:. chop a chunk of hex into 1.5" lengths with my chop saw...same one I use for wood.
OP 2: face of one side
OP 3: use a chuck spyder to control the fixturing depth and face the other side
OP 4: turn down the round section in 2 passes
OP 5: pilot drill and finish drill 7/8" hole (no center)
OP 6: bore to .885"...ish
OP 7: tap
OP 8: cut o-ring groove
OP 9: deburr with knife and EXL wheel

When you get to taps this size, you can powerfeed hand taps and the gullets are large enough to not clog with chips...especially fine threads
