Looks to be a 33' or 36' Daytona?

They were loading one of the 6's in the truck, I wonder if that was the cause or the aftermath

UPDATED -- The body of a Felicity, Ohio man has been recovered following a collision earlier today on the Ohio River near Maysville. Two other people were injured, according to reports.

According to police, 52-year-old Ronnie Parker was killed when a speed boat that he and three others were in malfunctioned. Maysville Police Department
Lt. Justin Horsh said Parker was killed when the speed boat began to spiin, throwing everyone from the boat. None of boaters were wearing life vests, Horch said.
After the spin, two men on a pontoon boat came over to help those thrown into the water. The two boats collided when two people from the pontoon came over to help those involved in the accident, police said. one man form the pontoon was seriously injured and airlifted to the University of Cincinnati Hospital,

Maysville police and fire departments are working an accident scene on the Kentucky side of the Ohio River near the William Harsha Bridge. Two boats, a pontoon type boat and a large speed boat may have collided and a least one person is missing, according to observers at the scene. One boat was carrying two passengers and the other, three. A dive team has been called in to help with the search. The Maysville Fire Department boat is on the scene, also. A photographer from The Ledger Independent is following developments and will provide updates when more information is available.

there was a post on a FB page of someone close to the situation and he said that the pontoon was only involved because while he was trying to help the people thrown in the water, the cat was still running (no lanyard) and spinning putting the people in the water in jeopardy and he supposedly stuffed his pontoon in front of the boat to stop it. Sad deal is, the guy also said that it cost the driver of that pontoon a leg that was injured severely in the accident by doing so. Apparently the driver of the Cat was very experienced with twin engine cats but only had this particular boat for 4 days. Cause was failure/loss of a drive. And to make matters worse...this was all at a benefit for a fellow boater that was injured and they were trying to raise money for his bills. The man that lost his life was the father in law of the cat owner. Sad deal all around.
