I was putting new grease and checking the bearings on the trailer when I found this. I believe it has been broken for some time but finally broke when we took the boat on a dirt road. I found the other side to be in very bad shape as well. After a lot of looking there are no straight 6 1/2" straight equalizers that I can find online so I am assuming these were made for the trailer as a custom job possibly? The design and materials does not seem fitting for the weight of the boat. I am planning on using solid stock 1 3/4" and drilling the holes keeping the current geometry the same. Any reason this would not work? As I really do not want to redo the whole suspension.
