This is a very good friends ski boat. Little back ground, he loves this thing and it's been an absolutely great family boat but he and his dad are going to go big and buy a brand new ski boat. This boa has been well cared for and not abused. Kept indoors up at Lake Nacimiento for the majority of its life. The motor was recently rebuilt and it's running perfect. Motor is unusual that it's a 454 (not a 350 like boats of this era).

I've run this boat a bunch and it's a great, trouble free easy boat. Boat and trailer are in good condition. Just thought I'd pass the info along since it's a lot of boat for the money if someone is looking for a "throw down" ski boat or back up boat. Be great to leave at the lake house or just have to use from time to time as a skier / wakeboard / tuber.

Details:
1990 American Skier tournament boat
454 Chevy w/10 hrs on fresh rebuild (runs awesome). Interior redone approx 5yrs ago.
Open bow / easily seats 9 adults / Bimini top / storage locker for anchor, ropes, skis / swim step just refinished
Sky tower for wake boarding
Stereo system w/amp & bass tube & aux plug in
2 deep cell batteries (2 years old)
** second owner / well maintained ** garaged and covered (new cover last year). Boat is stored at Naci.
This is a turn key boat

What is the length of the boat? Also, does it have a teak swim step? Please PM with contact info. Thank you!

When I bought my Malibu my Mom said why didn't you buy an American? She was a huge fan of their line of boats.

There were quite a few in the PNW, probably still running around, very well built...GLWTS.

Thanks!

If I'm not mistaken, they were bought out by another big brand, I just can't remember the name. Solid boats for sure. If I already owned the lake house we plan on buying in Nacimiento in the future, I'd buy this thing and just keep it there. For the bang for the buck on this thing, I couldn't go wrong. But I need to buy another Cigarette first;)
