Dave, are you talking about the Isle Condos when you mentioned Campbell Beach? Just curious, since I never heard that story about the Campbell boat's being given away with the purchase of the condos. If so, I will have to ask a friend of mine that is one of the original owners there. I have a lot of good memories of that place growing up especially with Crazy Horse going off in the late 80's. Nice job on the video.:thumbsup

The condos on the island side is the ones they used to give a free campbell with purchase.

Unfortunately our mascot boat the "Bullhead Bully" won't be in anymore immediate episodes. It will be heading to Florida and construction on the new BB will begin shortly. We are plan I g a reunion episode in Florida at some point in the future. .

Yeah, I know what side your talking about I just wasn't sure if you were talking about The Isles or not. I texted my friend who is an original owner (bought in 1978) and he said it's an urban legend. Pretty cool one though since there were quite a few Campbell's there back in the day.

I love these videos,always learn lots of new things.I couldn't agree more about the need for a good restaurant in the new casino.I would love to be able to just hop in the golf cart and go get a good steak,

For some reason I believe the ad for the condos with the "free campbell boat" was actually posted on here before. I remember seeing it.

I don't believe it is an urban legend.

I have been hearing the same thing about the free Campbell boat with condo purchase since I first bought in Havasu 30 years ago. Never knew if it was true or not. But the private beach has always had a bunch of Campbells beached there.

BTW. The London Bridge was just another bridge in England. It wasn't the LB in the song.

Another good video. Thanks. Length of the video seemed just right. Believe McCulloch used some triple tail 4 engine Constellations to fly potential buyers into Havasu. Beautiful and amazing planes. My wife's uncle bought a few acres from McCulloch back then, reportedly near downtown. Her Uncle sold far too soon. Had never heard that McCulloch also founded Spring Creek NV. Beautiful place at the base of the Ruby Mointains, just outside of Elko. Coincidentally, we live in LHC and our youngest daughter and family live in Spring Creek and love it. McCulloch did some good work.

I dunno where you heard that? I can assure you the London Bridge in LHC is the London Bridge and the same London Bridge from the song.

I asked him again and he even asked another friend that owns a condo there and they both said no such thing as a free campbell boat with condo purchase. His condo was the last to be built and was finished in 1980 (they purchased in 1978).

I think this was happening 10-15 years earlier than that? Like I said I don't know. I remember seeing the ad that someone posted on here. Spent about fifteen minutes googling trying to find it and couldn't.

At the end of the day we aren't the history channel, these things are for entertainment, and a local tour kinda deal.. I honestly think they are more appealing to the people that frequent LHC and Parker often because they get to see the river and the places while they are at home in Ca. Lol.

I hear ya. I am not trying to bust your balls...lol I just have never heard of the hole buy a condo get a campbell boat with purchase deal. So I just had to ask my buddies that are original owners to see what they said. Those condos were built in the late 70's but if I remember right my buddy told me the property was owned before the channel was built that's why the beach is considered private (they actually own the property into the channel). Great video...:thumbsup
