Looks to be a real oddball, straight six but has AC? Paint looks new, wonder how much rust is under it? 4200.00 doesnt seem out of line if the rust isnt to bad.

I dig the color. That 250 will do another 100k if it was taken care of. That looks like a bargain if nothing is hiding under the paint.

either they repaired the rust in the wheelwells or went to town with the bondo, but didnt fix the rocker panels?. you can see rust in the bottom of the pass door in one of the pics too.

.

There's a metal building and a carport shed on the acre next to my lake house, and the guy has a International Scout 2 door hardtop pickup under the carport. It looks like this, they are pretty rare. It's just sitting there deteriorating, it would make a bitchin' project truck.

Growing up in Florida, my step-dad bought a Jeep J4000 as a deer hunting truck. 360ci with a four speed trans, 3" lift on 35's. Needless to say, it was only stuck two times during the years we owned it. First time we blew a radiator hose bumping through some oily black Florida mud and buried the truck to the middle of the doors. My Uncle's Chevy pulled us out so we could swap the hose out and continue on. The second time that truck got stuck, we buried it up to the axles and couldn't do anything more. That time we walked to a neighbor's house and convinced his Dad to pull us out with his Scout. No problems there either! :D

That's the only memory I have of a Scout. I was impressed with its abilities but I'll always have a soft spot for that J4000. It was an awesome pickup and I wish I still had it!!
