We are on the Wisconsin river, below the lake du bay dam, above the dam at stevens point wi.

They pulled the docks already. The current here is pretty strong, and it can be shallow. The ice really raises hell with anything left in over winter.

Weather is better than in central California today.

We are an hour 45 south of minoqua.
Just a tad north of stevens point.

Possible retirement area but wifee doesn't like the midwest winters.

Might as well do some skiing.

I was in Stevens Point in August. Stayed at the papermill campground for a coupla days before heading to Oshkosh. That river is --drunk, I mean fun.

So, I haven't shown you guys 1 percent of the available boating here in wisco, so I figured I'd change up my routine. Heading over to big green lake today. It's around an hours drive south and east of the hula hut.

It's blowin harder than a busload of queers out of the south, so I'm launching on the south side of the lake.
Drive right past BBLADES, as they are located just off the west end.
