Is that a nut about to be sheared off? For the people that don't know jack about helicopters.

Probably not that serious yet but should not be serviceable.

Safety wire on the bottom bolt ain't right, were they wired together?

Control rod for a rotating cone.

They should all be safety wired and in good practice should also be torque striped as they are control linkages.

It looks like surface metal oxidation/corrosion. Can overtime penetrate linkages and cause failure. That is the problem with equipment operated in corrosive environments.

Everyone gets one fatal accident and I'm not yet interested in mine. :D

Had to pull the ribs off early. Unfortunately, one of the racks didn't fare too well and was trashed ... but these came out killer.

Sea water pump, oil change, gear lube change, and a quick little wash! Next weekend plugs, cap and rotor and she should be ready for the little season we'll have before my wife pops

PS any reason why the center section of the hatch has a yellow tint compared to the rest? It's really only noticeable in photos or if you're looking for it. Seems to be original

Great trip to Telluride to end the season! Got a bunch of snow the last day and our place wasn't too shabby. oh btw..the first picture..those are the same mountains that appear on the coors cans :thumbsup
