I have a buddy that just bought a 2007 Rhino and it is topping out at 35mph hitting the rev limiter. Stock size tires & seems to be running really well. Has 4000 miles and looks to be in great shape. How fast are these from the factory? Thanks for the help.

usually 41-42 if bone stock. Let me know if you need any help with it. I'm pretty familiar with them.

Belt doesn't seem to be slipping. He was really looking for at least low 40's stock since he wants to drive it on some of the local streets.

Low 40's as posted above.
Questionable speedometer accuracy can affect this number, too.

Pace him in a car, or find one of those speed-limit signs with radar, to see how accurate his speedo is :thumbsup

My 2006 Rhino has always done 53MPH max, with all the miles I have now I can get barely 52MPH. Not bad for a single cylinder motor and 1200 pounds.

What else have you done to it? Every rhino I have owned or been in that was stock did 42mph. After some mods (mainly clutch work) 50 is possible. My rhino with tons of mods will run 62.

Belt isn't slipping. Its worn. Replace belt with new and 40s will be possible. Also clean and replace grease in sheave.

My Rhino does right at 70 mph now. With just a few mods.

Are you sure it isn't a Rhino 450, and not a 660? The 450's top speed is 35-37 max.

Just a CDI box by BRP and that's it. It's all stock with tons of miles too.

Belt is warn.... They get narrower with use and you loose top end... Mine did they same thing. Gained my top end back with new belt.
