A few Malibu ski boats have met their fate here.

I am trying to get my bearings. Is this the rock on the Arizona side, a little ways upriver from Big Bend?

That's the cali side just below castle rock shores, and yes, above BB, I believe? :hmm there's a couple around that area :hmm

Their used to be a picture on the wall of the Tige glass shop of a Malibu Boat that managed to grate over that rock.
Hence the name: Malibu Rock.

No injuries, and the kids actually were able to retrieve the boat so we can laugh about it now.
