Up for sale is a 1990 Hallett 240 holy grail of all boats and if you don't buy this boat you're a meathead cause it's a smoking deal.

$13,500 OBO

1X7A3937-(ZF-8432-03020-1-001).jpg

1990 stock 454 with bravo 1. You'll be lucky if you hit 58 in this pig but it's a big thick heavy woman capable of crushing wakes and anything in the candy isle.

Stereo is decent. bluetooth with Alpine PDX 1200 for 2 10" kicker subs and Alpine PDX 4.100 for 4ea Polk 6x9. Can't really hear shit outside of the boat but it's like a 1/4" drill bit through your skull if you're in the boat.

I'm not sure of the actual hours since the hour meter was stuck at 99 when I bought it. I replaced the gauges about 4 years ago which shows about 100. New holley 750 with complete rebuilt heads, ignition, spark system, new GLM exhaust.

Trailer looks as shitty as the day I picked it up and didn't ever care about my .72 mile trip to the ramp.

Divorce forces sale so throw out some numbers....you never know what will stick

More pics available if I ever get all my shit back from her.

Boat is stored in garage in havasu.

Sorry you have to sell the boat. Wasn't sure if the ad was legit or you are just messing around. I hope you are just messing around.

BTW I've been on this boat. She runs strong and the sound system is killer. This 240 is what made me buy mine.

Post a pic of your sound system...im gonna make another attempt to add subwoofers to mine if the boat dont sale by new years

I put 10's under the backseat using the existing fiberglass base and boxed/glassed in a top and side making just over 1 cubic foot of volume per sub. But if I had to do it all over again I wouldn't do what I did. I have an Alpine 1.1200 running 2 kicker 10's. The bass is alright outside of the boat but almost completely dead inside. There's nothing to build the sound off of. A buddy came up with an idea I think would work much better than burying the subs under the deck but would require an entirely new seat base.

Let me see if I can find a pic of what I made and also what I would make if I did it again.

I tried the woofers in the cabin area 1 L7 15 and then 2 cvr's just couldnt get the bass to get out of the cabin to much padding and isolation. My next try was removing the 4 6x9's under the backseat and puting 4 8's or 10's and just adding another set of 6.5's up top

This is what I made out of the backseat. If I had to do it all over again I would wedge 2 10's at 45* each in the center and cut out a large oval out of the seat base or made a entirely new base.

This was kind of what i was think but also wondered how well the shallow woofers would sound in the base with just a seal top and base as the rest of the box...i deffintly gotta do some real thinking before i cut up the stock bass

I will say the CVR's have about 1/16" gap on top and bottom using the stock base. Not a lot of wiggle room to shit the bed on a cut. I would just build a base and don't even carpet it. Just build one, set it up and try it out.

Saying that it's tempting, hoping it gets out of your system by saying it outloud vs getting out to havasu to hook this thing up to your truck are 2 entirely different things.

Cant have two floats at once so I listed the pontoon last night after I posted here. If it's meant to be it's meant to be. Fingers crossed
