We picked this up last spring minus the motor and thought that we would just put the LS 6 that had been sitting in the garage for several years back together and run it for the summer. It didn't quite happen that way but we will probably make it a full project in a few more years after we get tired of it set up like this. For now it's gonna be a nice runner with bullet proof rigging.

We made to the water but had too many minor issues to really get if dialed in. IMG_6381.jpg IMG_6382.jpg IMG_6358.jpg

Nice boat, looks like Billdoe's old boat, out of the Sac area. I believe he did a build thread on PB.

Regardless looks like you had an interesting summer. Keep us updated and congrats.

It was Billdoe's boat. We have added a set of back seats and just repaired a list of small issues from being out in the weather after Bill parked it.
It's still going to be on the delta running out of Walnutgrove now.

Thanks for sharing! Got to agree with RiverDave with regards to the colors and I'm not even German. The black is what cuts it down and it looks super sleek.

The mighty dollar stops the Germans and Norwegians at the moment from coming and buying all our toys. We'll see how long it'll keep 'em at bay.

Keep sharing Oilman. What year is she?

The boat is an 1983 edition.
Progress has slowed down but will be ready to go in the early spring.

Got out and did all the major glass repair. Got a couple of coats of gel on top to seal it up.

Rolled the trailer on its side to get to the old paint and surface rust in all the hard to get to places before finishing the gel work and putting the boat back on the trailer.

The Tilt Mods are done JK.
Finished the underside of the trailer and tongue. Put back down set it up to put the final coats of gloss on it.
