Another 22' Vaughn Resto in Norcal

Hey Gang,
Just wanted to post a few pics of another 22' Vaughn Restoration we're working on up here in Norcal.
Again - this boat started out as an OUTBOARD and we're converting it over to an I/O.

Long story short - I picked up a 22' Vaughn completely stripped in an Ontario, CA storage yard - found a bunch of parts/pieces to restore it - had challenges with my gelcoat guy and finally gave up hope and sold it to a buddy of mine - he and his wife completed it in about a 3 month period - did a complete 6-page restoration article in the old Perfromance Boats magazine. Boat came out 'BITCHIN' to say the least!!!!! After seeing the 'finished restoration' I went on the search to find another 22' Vaughn - found one - started the process of gathering parts/pieces for another resto. While searching High and Low for my resto' project - I came across ANOTHER 22' Vaughn!!! Bought it as another potential resto hehe! (*yes I'm a boat hoarder). THEN - my buddy decided to put his Vaughn up for sale - soooooooo I bought it LOL!!!!!! - Sold him my 3rd Vaughn 'potential resto' and that's the one in this thread.
****Have I lost anyone one this posting yet????? I am close to getting my (2nd) Vaughn prepped and ready for re-gel - pending weather.

Thx! The first one is clear coat/base coat the current one is gel

Really nice looking boats. Did you use a single stage paint or something else?
