I've got a perfect Tahoe boat but just don't get it out often. All my friends work during the week and weekends on Tahoe are crazy busy. Plus it is expensive to boat there and kind of a pain in the butt to launch.

There is a smaller lake about 10 miles from me. Not as scenic as Tahoe but no inspection required and easy to launch/retrieve, very little midweek traffic.

So I have decided to sell my twin engine 32 footer in the spring but figured I'd start looking now for a smaller lake boat. Looking for about 19' to 21', open or closed bow, prefer BBC power but nothing crazy, Bravo outdrive, V-drive or even a jet (:D). I don't want anything fancy, preferring a "dock knocker", a beater boat I can put my dog in and not freak out about spilled drinks or hitting the dock. Would like it to be at least a 60 MPH boat though. Like to keep it under $10K. I am willing to travel to SoCal or Havasu area for the right deal.

Anyone have a boat like that for sale or know of one?

If you're looking for a 60 MPH Tahoe boat you're going to need a 70-75 MPH boat to the rest of these guys. ;)

I have a 75MPH Tahoe boat now. Looking for something smaller to run on Topaz and maybe an occasional run down to the River. (Insert thumbs up emoji here)

It is an Envision Illusion, a very solid mid-west boat. They went out of business in the recession. It's a deep V 24 degree deadrise at transom hull. They bought the molds of the Sea Ray Pachanga. Has 7.4 Mag motors with Bravo drives. Boat has 325 hours. Archer Marine in Costa Mesa raised the X on it to get more speed. Eddie Marine tabs, Latham full hydraulic steering, drive showers, 5 blade SS B-Blade props. I also have a pair of ProCharger M1 superchargers for it (not installed). Has a very large cabin with sink, head, etc. Sits on a triple axle steel trailer with 6 brand new tires and a spare. Flat screen and fancy stereo (two head units, one for cabin and one for cockpit).

I only have an old photo of it uncovered. I can take some more photos this weekend if you are interested. I have a full cover over it and put tarps over the boat cover to keep the dust off. I then put another older cover over the tarp to keep the sun from eating the tarps. It will be in inside storage for the winter.

If you boat in Tahoe I am not far from you. I have a SUPER clean 97 Sanger DXII closed bow. Runs 40 plus, ski, wake and throw a sack and a wave shaper and even surf. Has an extended pylon. Pretty desireable boat due to such a perfect ski boat. Most are going for over 10k and not as clean as the one I have. I can let it go under 9k.

Thanks but I'm not a ski or wake boarding guy.

I'm in Smith Valley.

I have a buddy with a 32' pachanga. Solid handling boat. I've been in some nasty water in it and it eats it up.

Glwts and good luck on the search!

It’s got driver paint and interior. I ran it this year at desert storm, it’s in the background of the raft up pic. I had six dudes and my son as the DD, and it ran great in all the rough ass water.
