I am going to roll out some BilgeKote in my boat. There are a few small holes in the stringers I want to fill before applying the paint. What should I use to fill these holes?

If you have a dowel cutter, the same type of wood as your stringers(most likely fir) if not any hard wood dowel is fine.

Pretty much.

If you want to be completely anal, get some resin. Coat the inside of the hole and the dowel before shoving it in.

Thanks I will.
Which epoxy and resin should I buy?

Just pack it in with Marglass. Its not structural. If you use a dowel let it equalize the moisture. Ive done it and they swell and pop the surface.

Thanks. How long does it take to cure?

Its just like bondo with glass fiber in it. Bondo has talc that absorbs moisture and will swell. Marglass is a brand.name. sometimes generically known as kitty hair.
