Lilrick, I love the look of those stacked tanks. Where can you get 'em and how much fuel will they hold?

It's great to see the renewed interest in Liberty's. I bought an 84 Elim. model as my first boat and only bought it cause the lines looked "cool" (did'nt know sqaut about jets/still don't/lol)

Turned out to be a great handling boat and only found out about the race history of the hull much later. Back in the late 90's I only saw two others on any regular basis out at the river, one of which was HBjet's.

Most of the real Liberty's are still around. I'd love to see Jack or someone run his at Ming again. Have fun with them.

Anybody know of any Libertys for sale? I'm looking for a baby blue and darker blue, from the mid to late 70's known as Showdown

If MikeF still posts on PB, he'd have some good pictures since he has what is probably the most unique and interesting Liberty I've seen.

Jack McClure has lots of pics of the Liberty that is in his shop. As far as I know he still has the brown and gold Liberty sitting up towards the office. The rigging on that boat is phenomenal.

Ya, Jack Mc Clure was the one that did my grandpa's jet work on that boat back in the day. I wish I had more money to plunk down on a nice boat....but don't. So I figured if I could find a project, that'd be the way to go for now.

Well I got a tip that the guy that originally bought my grandpa's boat was named John Madole, he lives Blythe(so I've been told) and I guess he sold it already.....so the hunt continues...
A buddy of his told me that last he saw it...It was parked in that dirt lot across from the Herbst station in parker a few years back......So the search isn't over.
