I took back a boat that i was partners on with a buddy, he decided to pull carb and manifold along with a bunch of other crap off and told me he had pics of how the wiring went back together, which he didn't. So where the 10 pin plug goes there is 2 bigger red wires with boots on them on the other side, not sure what these are for and if i have them hooked up backwards, thinking maybe trim since it didn't work, any thoughts?

Try and google the motor and wiring. There has to be pics or videos out there.
Maybe "pulling motor"

Should be a solenoid for the starter somewhere. Red wire from the battery. To the solenoid. Then the solenoid to the starter.

What he said, should also be a similar gauge black wire for the ground which goes to the block.

The shit is all wrapped up in tape but they are larger wires with little boots on them they are right behind the red reset button on back of motor, the motor turned over first try but didnt start, then second try i got nothing no power to gauges and not turning over, It got dark and i gave up on the POS, i will give it another look when i get a day off and get a pic, thanks.
