Thanks for posting!!

Miss APBA, there was always some good so cal racing. Ventura was not only cool because it was so close but the water was so huge always which made for some great actuion. They’d turn at the Ventura pier and head out directly against the swell. My wife took the pretty popular photo of the ettore boat launching about 20’ of air around 2000. The week or so later was when They stuffed pretty bad back east.

Factory 3!! Cats! Tex Taylor ran a 33 F3 eliminator boat for a few years.

I so miss factory class racing. It was by far the best racing in modern times. 25 to 30 boats in a class. Crazy racing. Never understood why it went away.
