Looking for some knowledge on correct props for F29 with twin 300xs. Only have tried Bravo 1's, 28 & 30 both vented and labbed.
28's 85mph @ 6200 rpm = 16.24 slip
30's 88.5mph @ 6000rpm = 15.89 slip
30's non labbed, 85.2mph @ 5650rpm =14.01 slip
What is a acceptable prop slip for this boat? Looking for all around best prop, getting on plane, top speed, low slip. The ecu's have been tweaked and I would like to keep rpm around the 6200. Thinking about trying to Bravo OC's but don't know if much better then what I have. Talked to Mercury and they leaned toward the FS. Anybody know the difference between the OC's and FS's? How about the bblades blaster, some say the tried it but the OC had better top end?
