Some of the lights I was telling you about Randy.

I was debating on trying to get a set of these in amber for turn signals, but now I'm thinking of going a different approach.

Either way these will be the license plate lights.

I'm considering using these "micro dots" up high on the cage for brake / turn signals.

Or the final 2 options that i"ve come across that I like.

Try to integrate something like this onto the top cross member on the cage facing the back. These guys custom build LED's.. So you can pick all red, or red with Ambers on each side. The length of the blinkers, center section etc..

Lastly, this guy has the old school billet hot rod 3rd brake light in 100 different configs as well. Single Brake light / low/high Brake in the center with blinkers on the side etc. etc..

The rear step is about what I was talking about when I was up there. This size or maybe just a hair bigger?

I also really like the upholstery on the back.. I'm going to talk to WFS and see if when they do my fiberglass enclosure if we can have it shaped kinda like that. I'm thinking either paint it and pin stripe it. Or upholster it like you did here.

ok heres the wheels you should have on your car they are chrome and will tuck in the body when the frame is on the ground and they will fit your trailers better too.. we can runa specail on the wheels that you aready have......

Offsets are all over the place on gold cart wheels so you just buy what you like. I'm ok with the cart just lowering down so the body touches the wheels. If we switch to these wheels then I can lay frame on the ground which is what I think randy wants to do. LOL.

I like my current wheels better though. I'm kind of on the fence now about switching.

well this is what we have now.. was trying to get the bags in today but not enough hours in the day... hey when are you leaving for the river?? we are in the early am on friday need to be at foxs by 10 am for the first bloody mary of the season

ok the LED lights came in today pretty bad ass.. but what we need to figure out is i think we need more lights i got the amber for the front turn signals

and 20" strip of red for the tail lights and the 3rd brake light nothing for rear turnsignals.. the 20" strip we can cut down to manys sizes...

carts have a center pitman arm but good idea.. the bump steer wont be to bad

Yeah I saw that....makes it tougher...I think you're gonna have to ditch that center pitman arm.....I built an A-Arm easy go a few years back and the steering was the hardest part to get dialed in...ended up with a buggy rack and pinion. I was thinking more about this last night and you're gonna have a tough time with that narrow width and solid front axle trying to control bump steer.....another option might be one of the side steering set-ups like they run on solid axle bucket T roadsters... What moves the center pitman? How is the rotation of the sterring column converted to the side to side movement of the pitman arm?

Might be more trouble than it's worth....just throwing out ideas...

the front end now goes up and down and turns..we have done the push around the parking lot test. the steering was fun.. cut and weld and cut and weld again... doesnt turn as sharp as factory but will do the job... eccept for welding the under side when we flip the chassis , the front end is down.... im not liking the plastic air lines they dont seal and hold the air in.... now the test run on the rear...

Are the bags in the front going to be exposed the way they are in the pictures or are you going to put some sort of (for lack of a better term) skid plate to protect the bags. The reason I ask is that it looks like you could run them into something and blow them out. It would seem that after a few beers it could become an issue. Not trying to start shit Dave, Randy has been very helpful to me. I'm in the middle of building my cart and I'm just wandering if it had been thought about. I know I have built things and then had to take them apart to redesign them. Tack welding is easier to take apart then a full bead.

The bags will be exposed for "show" so you can see the suspension working when it's going up and down. This is a street cart, and isn't getting taken off road or anything. I don't expect it will be a problem with the bags exposed.

For everyone concerned, the expected delivery date of the cart is Nov 17th. If there is enough time, I'll take it over to the stereo shop, and have the system put in it for ThanksGiving weekend. If there isn't, then I'll take it after Thanksgiving weekend.

Sometimes custom shit takes time.. Understandably this one ran a little long, but it is what it is.. So long as it's bitchen when I pick it up, I don't really care.
