I've seen many of his shows on TV and if we lived closer I would be going to a show tonight. I cannot go tomorrow as we are going to see The Nutcracker at the Wiltern.

I saw him many moons ago at the Ice House in Pasadena, that was when a lot of his stand up was based on his experiences of living with parents from India and him growing up in a pretty white section of Canada. That to me was funnier than the stuff he does today.

One of the bits he did was that his father called him up and said that he got a new car. (Remember, his father has a heavy Indian accent):

Hey Dad, what car did you get?
I got a Pontiac Goose.
A Pontiac Goose? You mean a Firebird.
No, it's a Pontiac Goose.
Dad, they don't make a Goose.
No, it says Pontiac Goose!
Dad, Pontiac only makes a Firebird, or a Sunbird, not a goose
No, damn it! It's a Pontiac Goose!
Okay, okay, I'll come by in a little bit a check it out.
So I get to my parent's house and I see the new car in the driveway...
Dad, that's not a Pontiac Goose.
Yes, it is! See right there, (pointing to the name on the edge of the truck) PONTIAC GOOSE.
No Dad, it's not a Pontiac Goose, it's a Pontiac 6000 SE.

I always thought that was pretty funny.
