Doors make for easy entry
My buddy built one at same time, he did HID's for desert, and matte black on cage vs. gloss for me. Both did great on the Poker run

The lock and ride box/gas can holder is nice, got an 18 pack AO cooler to fit in the second gas can holder

Suspension was much better than expected, takes whoops 10X better than my former rhino with bilsteins. Power was good, plenty of top end for this suspension, and no bucking like the rhino, even with 3 200+lb. guys.

Looks awesome. My buddy had his cage done by SDR, they make a great cage. I really want one of these but they are just a little small in the leg room department in the front seats, Im 6'4". Did changing the seats to TS give you anymore leg room? I was wondering if there was any way to move the pedals forward 2 or 3 inches, fab new mounts or something.

A little more room but not much, I"m 6'2" and if it was'nt for the notched out section of floor in front of the gas pedal(standard), I'd have my knee on the dash.

It would be easy to cut off the left side of the center dash (has 1" overlap) and SDR or a dremel could do it quick and clean. That would most likely do it for you.

The TS seat drops a little but Tim at SDR is planning on doing a lowered seat base like he does for the rhino in the near future. The wrap around support of the TS seat is a definate improvement.

Yeah I know what you mean with the little notch, I would be really screwed if that were not there. That notch is the only thing that makes me still consider buying one, just afraid I will get uncomfortable on long rides. I was thinking there might be something that could be cut or moved a little to get a little extra room, dont need much. Thanks for the info, I will have to revisit a RZR dealer soon and look into it more. Car turned out really nice, SDR has that cage/door combo nailed, cleanest on the market I think.

I would love to have one but the idea of loosing my ass on the rhino and starting over on a build would make my bank account cry...lol

I'm 6'4" fit fine in mine. I adjusted the seat all though way back which gained about 2". My knee will hit the dash section that drops down in the center but thats only if I lean it that way.

Yes its a plus 6" it by HCR. With the long travel in conjuction with the wheelbase this has its the best riding SXS in my opinion.
Theres a pic of my custom RZR trailer also. lol
Heres a couple more pics, i'll try to find some better ones.

That trailer is sick! :D Who built it? (What does it say on the main rail?)

As well what is painted on the roof of your RZR?

Thanks! After tring to find a trailer that I thought would be a good fit for the RZR I said to hell with it , I'll build my own. So I built it in the ol garage.

The main rail reads "hooker-up trailers" . I thought I would have to put something on their to get people searchin the web.lol

The roof has a large three digit number and two squares (one red the other blue) to resemble a top view of a cop car.

Hey, you did the same to me with the long travel, heard it makes our 4's into basically sand cars for width, which means little chance of a roll at Glamis:thumbsup

FWIW, I went with the TS Vortex seats over the Excel. Excel has more wrap around foam, but makes for less space getting in the opening doors. Check both out for size if you go Twisted Stitch.

Nah, not me, have'nt been to Parker since Thanksgiving

No time between Bomb Squad and Asphalt Grinding Biz.

SDR who built mine has done at least 40 RZR 4's since my build, probably one of them

Still completely happy with mine, only negative is finding time to use it:D

So since you built your trailer, what do you think are must haves in a trailer. I see alot of them with open sides and yours has closed in sides. I'm just starting my research for an RZR 4 and trailer. Wife has a JCW MINI Cooper that we would tow on occasion also but not both together.

I am a fan of having side rails so you can through some loose items on and not worry about it. I built my side rails so that there was 1" of clearance under the doors so they can open easily when loading/unloading. A ramp gate is a no brainer, tie down anchors in the rite spot is also nice. A side step makes it nice to enter/exit the trailer easily. Brakes , big wheels , big fenders , led lighting and being slammed are a must have too. :thumbsup

I'm 6'7" and it's a little cramped in the wifes rzr4 but in my "S" I did the crazywatson dash mod for more knee room and lowered BS sand seats for a couple of inches more legroom..

Did they lift the ban on importing the Weber engines?

Great kit, about $7k after the core trade in, correct?

pricing is correct... but Chad can't import the motors anymore, if you really want one the best choice is to buy a wrecked fst sled or for more power he has a Z1 conversion now, 160-500hp. I should have one shortly to test at glamis, the 260hp version. The Z1 doesnt have an alternator like the webers so I'm not sure yet on how much lighting we can throw on. I think it has a 500-600w stator like a stock rzr motor.
