So we're camped at the south end of Pad 2 Glamis and I look out the window at what appears to be someone's black base ball cap blowing around near the top of a dune behind us.
It was doing loop to loops, Cuban 8's, landing and taking off then settle down.
A goofy wind was picking and I thought no more of it.
So I look out the window an hour later and that black object was now the size of a telephone pole.
I shit you not then a big black ribbon rose up from it and it descended on our truck.
It was bees swarming.
I put on a full riding suit, filled spray bottles with dish soap and water and attacked them.
They were nesting between the cab and bed all over the fuel cans and wheel wells millions of them.
Then I started up the truck and hit Gecko rd at 70 mph killing bees that got in the cab with me.
I sat in the truck at Roadrunner CG for an hour then went back, hooked up while being dive bombed and moved to Pad 5.
No time for pix I had to move fast.
