We were just there 3 weeks ago - awesome place! So much history. We needed more than the 6 hours we spent to take it all in.

Very nice, The current VC25 fleet (28000 & 29000) was my responsibility until my retirement at the end of 2015. They will be retired as well in a few years.

They have a cool collection, some indoor some outside.
All manner of prop planes and an SR71 among others.
Pretty neat place.
Tool and equipment analyst for the VC,E4,C32,C40 (and others) at the Executive Fleet Modification facility in San Antonio. 2013-2015. I was in SA prior to that to help with the transition from Wichita.
Castle is closed or March?I've been to March, they were just starting on it.
I was stationed up in Merced at Castle AFB, we had just started building that one. I stopped in couple years ago, base is closed but the museum was still active.

Nope, was at Flight Test Boeing Seattle, Edwards AFB, and Tooling department since 1980.
I worked with some Andrews guys coordinating equipment transfers and loans. Boeing guys mostly.
