I just picked up a rzr 800 and need to get insurance on it. What companies are you using? If you have name and numbers that would be great.

    Thanks

We used to have it through AAA, but they stopped covering SXS and switched us to Progressive.

Since mine was plated in AZ, I carried a car policy thru Progressive.

    :eek
Is that where CA insurance rates are at, for off-road toys?
The AZ car policy for my Rhino was full coverage, $20k replacement cost...just over $200/year IIRC. Definitely under $300.

    Our dealer recomended these people.
Said folks walk in after their SxS was totaled or stolen and the service from them was great.

We have AAA for everything else except the boat.
They are a PITA with boat insurance and don't offer SxS insurance.

LR2 having an umbrella and having insurance on a rzr are two separate items.. Umbrellas kick in AFTER the first policy and the first policy must meet requirements for it to do so.. Just guessing but by your post you might want to call your agent and clarify.

That is the range I have heard from friends trying to insure there new RZR. Most companies said no and the few that would were around $800. I have not priced it yet with my Allstate agent.
