Sure hope it stays that way. We plan to launch in Benicia if no rain, helmets ready, boat already fueled, changing gear lube this evening. We will be at secret meeting spot by 9ish. I was told the group will leave meeting spot by 10am.

Took her out this morning between down pouring rain....
Got the DBR pulling off the starboard tank, so I figured out the fuel issue. Cured the molding leaks by 95%...
I am ready to hit the backwaters like a low flying F-35. I think I’ll run the 32 pitch for better mileage....sinister top end !
My problem is I’m running with a 124 mph STV AND a 128 mph Jaguar Mirage. I hate to be humbled....Lmao!

They cancelled the run today because their labias hurt I guess. So much for any weather is boating weather. We are gonna run our cabin cruiser to Petaluma and hopefully SF Bay today, rain or shine. Tomorrow we will launch here in Benicia and meet you guys. Where/when for lunch? I will have the slowest boat tomorrow, until we get into some cruiser wakes.

Sorry it wasn't an outboard but we ran 118 miles in our cabin cruiser yesterday. Benicia to Petaluma to Travis marina bar then out under the Gate & back to Benicia. Fantastic day with family & friends. Ripping up the Delta today, I have the slowest boat in the group, 103 on its best day, but we LOVE it.

I was next to Bill E’s STV at 115....then I watched his bonnet , on the 2.5 , literally blow off...brand new carbon fiber race cowl...
Our friend , Rufus, sees it in the water and grabs it before it sank. Now there’s good karma!

Didn't have that exciting of a day here. The sun was much needed but that breeze was definitely chilly. Still a month out on any fast fun. But it was boatin' non the less. Still snow on the banks.

I want to get some 3 blade wheels and test...getting too much slip with the 4 blades...ran negative trim and went faster...
Dropping my engine to see if my slip factor will drop. Going to 1 1/4” and test.

I learned a lot yesterday...keeping the bow down is critical. It was trying to lift at neutral trim. Got better tail lift with negative trim, and dropped the nose and increased speed. Much work still to do.

The fastest I got mine going was with Joes 32 Cleaver 3b, I also tried his 34 cleaver it was a bit too much, slow to accelerate

Props are Black Magic, something you think wouldn’t work well ends up working great

My sticks were pinned almost the entire way from Stockton to Porthole, I made up a bunch of water over the cruiser wakes and had a blast. Our 12 yr old niece drove from Pittsburg to Benicia, we were cruising 75mph when she said can we please go faster! Love that girl

My new helmet arrived a day late, but I’m happy to get it! Cool features include built in sunglasses, dual vent system, and lower portion of helmet breaks away ....
Best of all, got it for under $200!!

Looks badass!! The full face helmets are a must in the morning this time of year. Good to see you guys, sorry we didn't get a chance to talk more and run with you. All of you guys are soooooo quick my tank can't keep up but we had fun trying.

I know! We had over a dozen badass boats, great group of people, and epic water conditions...
That was the smoothest water I’ve ever ran on in the main channel. How many drags DID we have..??!!! That was just a blast. With that said, we have to try to duplicate that session!! Just wait until Bully gets in the mix! LMAO!!
