In December on the Tanner Bank.

A friend of mine bought this boat when he retired and spent 7 years rehabbing it.
Offered a trip to the Tanner bank to chase the 100+ BFT that have been feeding there for the last 6-8 weeks if we got a weather window.
He had two friends cancel and I brought two fish killers with me.
We left Wednesday the 14th and came back Saturday morning with 7 fish, quality but not the trophies we were hunting. We had one on that was an easy 100+ that took Troy down to the spool on a 50# outfit in seconds.

Myself? I still smell like skunk. I dumped my only hookup.

My first dive was on the Maverick in July, 1970.

Ask Geno if he ever received the photo of my old man and my brother skiing behind the Maverick. :thumbsup

I imagine were having fish on new years? :drool

Never heard of it. Did you ski behind it? :)

The two boats we mainly used were the Maverick, skippered by Roger Hess and the Truth with Roy Hauser.

I'll bring a couple roasts...if I don't eat them before then.

You like Poki?

If you're swinging by I'll make some.

The Poke you buy sucks, they don't use prime fish as all the sauce and seasoning masks the poor fish quality.

That Bluefin is the $75.00 to $85.00 a pound quality.

Home-made poke is super easy to make, and way better than what you can get at stores.

I agree with 500BBC, lots of places are using seasonings to hide low-quality fish.
