  1. Memorial Day Safety Thoughts

It should be noted none of the pics in this article have anything to do with the content. Just some old School River Pics from the boards.

Back when I was thin and the plant was alive on the Patio at the RiverHouse..

It's an interesting feeling living out here in Lake Havasu this time of year. I remember not that long ago being a California resident that lived 265.2 miles from our house in Parker (or 266.3 miles from my...

  3. Lucas Upper Cylinder Lube - It's not about the MPG

View attachment 598032 In this article we are going to take a look at Lucas Oil's Upper Cylinder Lube, all the controversy that surrounds it, and why I (and YOU) should use it regularly. First lets read the description right off Lucas Oil's website so we have some kind of generic idea of what it is, and what it does.

  4. Have a Drink on Me Series Article 1 - Rons In your Ear Audio and Gel Coat Repair!

View attachment 597998 Well it's that time of year where we thank our sponsors for last years Desert Storm AFTER PARTY!! This series of articles is aptly named the "Have a Drink on Me Series"

These are the companies that are guys you should consider giving an opportunity at your business, after all they are not only good at what they do, but they support the grass roots style events that RDP is all about! Each of these companies contributed their money for the live music, DJ,...
  5. Eliminator Not Attending LA Show - The Real Reason

View attachment 597915 I'm a little late to the party on this one, as the press release has gone out via Bob Brown to a multitude of customers, and media outlets. So in typical RDP fashion we will dive into it a little deeper and show you a little of what they are building! I was only able to attain a few pics, but I plan on going there on Friday morning to take a bunch more. As you might have read on our LA BoatShow - what to expect article Eliminator will not be at the show...
  6. Los Angeles Boat Show staged for a come back!

View attachment 597888 This year marks the 55th consecutive year for the Los Angeles Boat show! As many know the economic crisis that developed in 2007 crippled just about every industry in the nation. I can't speak for everyone in the marine industry, but for myself the recession actually started a year earlier. People cut out "luxury items" before anything else, and being a guy that caters to boat companies advertising needs,...
  7. A day late, but not a dollar short!

Well I missed my Tuesday / Newsday Sponsor appreciation day yesterday, so I figured I'd put it up today!

First a quick update to some new advertisers that have just come on board! We got a new insurance agency on board "Stern Insurance!" Brad Stern is a fellow boater, that has a 25 Daytona with a procharged 502, and a 21 Lavey Outboard that they ski race. On a side note we will be doing a write up on his 21 Lavey as it gets closer to being completed, it's a pretty cool story...
  8. An Open Invitation to the MFG's we never hear from

View attachment 597881 I spend a lot more time cruising the past and current content then most anyone on the site for obvious reasons. I'm always trying to keep it somewhat fresh, and trying to make sure we aren't regurgitating the same articles over and over. The one thing that became painstakingly apparent to me the other night is it seems like all we are covering are 200,000+ 21-24, 125,000+ deck boats, and on occasion the 1,000,000+ dollar Cat?...
  9. Happy New Year from Eliminator Boats!!

I happened to talk to Bob late last week and he wanted me to wish everyone on RDP a Merry Christmas and an extremely Happy New year!

As the experts on Wall Street argue whether the economy is getting better or not, Bob is happy to report things are going extremely well down at Eliminator right now. The phones are ringing and new builds are in process on five new boats right now! Bob said on the phone "I can't hardly believe it's December right now with how much activity is going on."...
  10. RDP News tuesday / Sponsor Appreciation day

In RDP advertising news I am happy to report that in the dead of winter we have picked up some new advertisers! First and foremost is Pedro at Saleen Fiberglass! Pedro owns a shop here in Havasu that specializes in Gel Coat repair and Fiberglass repair.

Another new advertiser is Havasu Customs! Brian's shop will...
  11. Eliminator Boats and OuterLimits Powerboats Partner on SV-29 West Coast version!

View attachment 597540 In 1974 Bob Leach of Eliminator Boats revolutionized the performance boating world with the introduction of the 19' Daytona. It was part Hydroplane, part catamran, part Vee Bottom, and all style. The pickle fork hit the water and amazingly enough performed flawlessly the first time out! It was quite a change from the various types of boat on the market that became difficult or even next to impossible to drive as the speeds increased. The Daytona was...
  12. The Local Sandbar

    View attachment 597509

A lot of you have seen the threads were Eliminator is having an "Open House" every weekend. I think some have misread the intent of those "open houses." On the surface absolutely it's to bring people down, or "customers through the door" as it were.. But it's more then that, a lot more.

Bob's goal of the weekend BBQ's is to make Eliminator kind of a "hang out" on Saturdays where boaters can congregate, meet other boaters, and grab some lunch when...
  13. Connolly Marine - Rises Again!

    View attachment 597492
I had heard rumors about Connolly boats starting back up, but like anything in the marine industry you believe half of what you see and nothing of what you hear. Yesterday afternoon though I got a call from none other then Dave Connolly and he mentioned to me that he was opening Connolly Marine right here in Havasu. We weren't thirty seconds into the conversation before I simply asked "where are you?" He responded 1505 countryshire, and I said "I'll be...
  14. Getting to know "Big Doug" at Full Throtte Detailing

View attachment 597410 I had the opportunity to sit down with "BigDoug" as we have all come to know him on the various forums over the years. Unlike the usual articles where we describe his business and what he offers, I'd like to step out of the box here for a minute and talk about himself as a person as well. Doug is quite literally the cliche of the "gentle giant" and...
