Mid last week I was forced with a choice to either go to the Parker Tube Float, or an event that I had just recently heard about The Extreme Machine show at the AVI Casino. It's no secret that I'm a Parker Rat, and we go to the Tube Float every year, but this year with the kids being so young and my wife almost being full term Pregnant I decided to stick with the option where Air Conditioning was close.

I have never been to the AVI before, and I must say I was really (REALLY) impressed with the place! When we pulled into the Parking lot I saw a bunch of RV's and toy haulers in the Parking lot. I can only assume this was part of the show, but it was a small distance away and we were looking to go see the boats so we didn't really check it out. We entered the main lobby and I saw this sign "Day Care services." Having a 1 1/2 year old and a 3 year old with us, I simply wouldn't be doing my due diligence on the place if we didn't at least check it out.

The kids took one look at this program and were both very excited to go in. The security was tight, and they had all the latest from I pads, to toys, and even an extremely large "Play Land." (One of those deals where they climb up and there's tubes etc..) We dropped them off and for 7.50 cents an hour each we were off to go check out the show. The only reason I bring this up in the article is because it was such a nice bonus to be able to cruise the show for a couple of hours without chasing the kids everywhere.

So now on to the show!

As we walked out of the casino we were greeted by several bad ass displays. I will post pics of more of them in the thread, but these were my top picks just walking around.

Nordic was well represented!

E Ticket brought 2 boats out for display as well!

Domin8tor had several Decks there including one for Demo's. They also build the hulls for several of the Mini's that were on Display at the show.

Nice matching Display with a RZR 1000 four seater by Unlimted SXS and one of Twisted Liquid Marine's Vee bottom mini's.

Talked with Ryan from Slide Anchor for awhile. He was stoked to be on the beach instead of some hot parking lot, or stuck in a convention center.

Premier Golf Carts had a display with 5 or 6 carts. This was the best looking one IMO

I really liked the look of this whole program! Understated but still very aggressive at the same time! My next SXS will look something like this (with different colors of course).

For those of you that haven't seen it, this is MiniKat's newest boat. He won the majority of the awards for the mini boat competition. I will do a seperate article on this boat later that is more in depth.

Tom at Pro Marine brought down his new Nordic, with MONSTER power and Arnesons!! We will also be doing a feature on this boat in the near future!

A peak under the hatch at one of Pro marine's Monsters!

Pretty Sano Flat Bottom. This had all the fixings of a contender for hte show IMO. Not sure how it placed.

New Hydro being built.

Twisted Liquid Marine's Mini Boat that they have been selling!

Overall it was a great little combination of boats, HotRods, Trucks, Mini's, Offroad and some randoms, that made for a great afternoon that wasn't "overwhelming." The most important part of it being that it brought several people (myself included) to the AVI casino that had never been there before. Speaking for my family, I can say with absolution that we will be back with our boat very soon!

For more pics check out this link, they seem to have gotten most of the Hotrods in the show!
