As you guys know we have been doing a lot of featured vehicles, now for a few of the different advertisers on RDP.. I know have three companies that I'm going to be doing weekly vehicles on, and normal articles as well.
Paradise Auto is RDP's newest Advertiser, they are a decent sized car lot (125+ vehicles at all times) right here in Havasu. There's a major tax advantage for Californian's to purchase a vehicle in Arizona. In California when you trade in a vehicle you pay tax on the purchase price of the new vehicle! In Arizona, you pay tax on the difference in price between the trade in and the new purchase. For example if a customer is buying a 20,000.00 car, and he trades in a 10,000.00 car, he only pays 7.85% tax on the 10,000.00 difference instead of the entire 20! The tax is then collected by CA through AZ. Out of state deliveries (all 50 states) are also not a problem, and the tax code still applies!
Paradise Auto has been in business in Lake Havasu for 23 years and has been Family owned the entire time. All of their vehicles go through a safety inspection by ASC certified mechanics, and in Tim's words "We don't sell junk or problematic cars. If we buy one and discover it has problems we send it back to auction and out of Havasu so someone else won't have to deal with the headaches."
If you have an opportunity take a drive on by, or check out their website. The cars are all late model and extremely clean, and Paradise will let you test drive one for a day! Meaning if you would like to see if one works for you, just stop in ask for Tim, give them a copy of your drivers license, take the car home and bring it back the next day! (Great option for weekenders, to make sure the vehicle fits there needs, and not trying to rush a deal on your vacation) Paradise auto is also a major player in the Arizona auction seen so they can find just about any type of vehicle that you are looking for, have it inspected and delivered! Getting to know Tim Kashirsky -
Tim moved from Redland's CA 12 years ago to Lake Havasu city and instantly fell in love with the town and the lifestyle. Tim has been a boater all of his life, and is a die hard Out Board guy. He currently has a 18' LaveyCraft with a 200 Merc on the back. He and his wife generally boat mid week with some local friends, and often spend time exploring the coves on the Lake. In an interesting side note, Brian from Tank It (local gas tank fabrication and welding shop) Tim Kashirsky (Paradise), Ricky (Maxed Out Marine), and myself all have Polaris Ranger "Crews" and will be doing some snail pace, in the rear with the beer offroad trips soon! "Ranger Nation!"
To Continue on the Ranger Crew theme, for those that attended the Enduro and got a free shuttle ride, Tim's was one of the three Crew's there! So I'd like to take a second and say Thanks to him for lending us that for the event!
