We don't think any trip to Catalina is complete without a visit to Brian at the Marlin Club.
I've known Brian for about 23 years now.
Never tire of his antics.

Thursday before Memorial Day I walked in to the Marlin Club and the Red Bull rep was trying to convince them to use the Red Bull coolers for Red Bull,, and take out the products that took the Red Bulls place.
"I bought these coolers on E bay, I can put anything in them I want too" Randy fired back.
The Red Bull rep was from the 909 and sat down at the bar with me for a Buffalo Milk. He told me since Fireball gained popularity, fewer people around the USA are ordering Jeager bombs causing Red Bulls sales to hit the skids. Evidently a HUGE hit.
So Red Bull distributors are actively trying to canvas the country to somehow get it's sales rolling again. "The Red Bull Company itself doesn't really care, they are leaving the problem up to us,, the distributers." the rep added.
Buffalo Milk made with a Reeses:
You can actually send a que ball, with just one roll, around the entire arm rest of the bar. Yep from one Red Bull cooler all the way around to the other.

Krackhead Ken walks in and trys to pin me in a conversation. Bartender Brian tells Ken his drinks just went up to $20,, so Krackhead Ken leaves.
(The next day 3, hot, tan, Hawaiian Asian chix in bikinis at the bar tell Ken they're going to kick his ass, and he leaves, fast,,, but that's another thread).
Then some members from a band "Fabulous Ricks Trio" walk in on their way to set up and play for the evening.
I buy a few rounds, they work for tips and drinks and two of them love to tell me how much I look like Meatloaf.
I'll get back to the Meatloaf remark.
Fabulous Ricks Trio is usually made up of 6 musicans and singers (do the math). The unique thing is sometimes they play with hand made guitars from one member Tom Reiser.
Amazing electric guitars. Hollow body, solid body,, wood bass,, all excellent quality and look and sound amazing.
So the next Saturday Ricks Trio +3 is playing at Pedros Dock Bar by the Casino.
I'm sitting at the bar above with the wife and the band announces Meatloaf is sitting at the bar with the black Mercury Marine hat on.
The crowd busts out in applause.
The band starts playing and a girl comes up and says to my wife and I she's bi and starstruck.
Loved the tune "Paradise by the Dashboard light" she told us.
She bit into the gag and started hugging me.
Didn't take my wife but a few seconds for that to sink in and we were in the dingy heading back to our boat. Just the two of us.
Meatloaf has no shortage of women in his life.
