You guys might remember a short article I wrote up a few years back about a West Coast Allstar leaving us and going to the East Coast. Carlos Lafarga pretty much redefined West Coast Interiors when he worked for DCB. After opening his own shop "Premier Marine Interiors" and running it for a year or two in Lake Elsinore, another player in the marine Industry Cigarette decided to capitalize on his skills. Carlos moved to Florida and brought the west coast "flair" to the Iconic brand, but ultimately both he and his family realized that their roots are back here with us.

As is the case with the most all the DCB family the door is always open, and Carlos has resumed his position as head of operations in the interior department! Since he has been back he has again been raising the bar for everyone else to follow. Not only has he been setting the bar for everyone else to strive for on new boats, but DCB is now offering interior services for all brands! They just recently took in an OuterLimits that the owner wanted to update, and more importantly bring it to the level of quality and "flair" that has made DCB world renowned! You might be asking yourself "Can you really upgrade and OuterLimits?" I'll let the pics speak for themselves. (If you pay close attention you will see that he took a traditional sit down back seat, and converted it so that passengers can either sit in the back, or stand ahead of the seats and have side bolster support like offshore raceboats! Hence the grab straps in the back and ahead on the same arm rest)

Many DCB owners are also watching the new boats roll off the line, and are finding a quick way to make your boat look like a 2014 model is to put an updated interior in it! It's a fraction of the cost of purchasing a new boat.
