It's period correct. Nothing unique about it. Over priced IMO.

Yours is a cleaner, nicer boat hands down....

Ya it does have a short deck on it. It would look bitchen' if someone moved the helm area back to make the deck longer like the 32 spectra ...

Not bad for 6600 though

It was originally a 24' but this one is "special" . It's been rumored that is the fastest Schiada around. Carson brummett TT motor. Racey on the boards rigged it. It is Skia36 boat on the boards....

Met RD and Hammer today. Hammer is cool, sober as a Judge.

It appears that quite a few have figured out the best part of the Boat/Car Show is the Boats running in front of the venue. There were some bad ass boats running really fast. There were a hundred folks on both sides of the River enjoying the Show.

Some fantastic looking Boats and Cars. We had a great time and spoke with some really cool people. This years sixth annual and it is getting better every year.

I know you won't believe this but RD was having a Beer... maybe two.

I was just corrected. It is a 24' . I was under the impression It was cut down, it's just a reworked 24' . Racey and others here would know more details about what was done and how it was built.

it is a 24. they called it an SR22 for rules purposes at Lake Arrowhead for the ski races.

It is the only SR22 ever made by Schiada. Registration and sales receipt show SR22. It was done intentionally to circumvent the ban of 24 Schiadas at Lake Arrowhead Water Ski Racing. LAWSRC banned the boat anyway because it was too much of an advantage for Ski Racing at the lake.

That said... it is a 24 Schiada, same hull measuring 22'9". It started out of the Schiada 24 mold with inserts to change the bottom, not the length. The bare hull then went to Carson Brummett. The bottom of the SR22 has been changed by Carson Brummett and Steve Stenton of Racey Industries. Steve Stenton rigged the boat, Carson built the motor and it has been updated 3 times. The original boat looked much different than it does today. It started with a white bottom and no interior, just 2 grey seats and a "2" on the side. The evolution of the boat is available with lots of pictures at raceyindustries.com

Pretty sure this is 1 of 3 (if memory serves me correctly) 27' Schiadas ever built. I know Mondorally, had one with twins that he sold in '08.

I get wanting to have it gel coated, but and I mean this with all due respect, WTF is it with you guys wanting Long Decks :eek ? If anything re-glass the transom and do a Single BB.
