Added link...thanx.

At first look I was going to say Connelly until I saw the bottom/stern in the last pic. Looks like a mini-tunnel right at the prop - rudder location. Not one that I know....

Second look, a maybe is Gaylord. Didn't know that they made any cruisers but the way the deck overlaps the dash makes me think Gaylord. They were the only builder (that I know of) that overlapped the dash with the deck.

Paul, you should repsond to the ad and ask....

Texted the seller, it's a Bayon. Made wood boats in So-Cal then moved to Redding and made glass boats. Some tie to Billy Campbell and may have some roots related to Campbell Boats....

Another search here at RDP has some aded info on Bayon Boat Co.

It's over on LH Ave in that 'sell it yourself lot'. Drove bye and saw that it had 'no plates' so didn't stop to look it over. First thought it was a 20' Delaminator but upon closer inspection (25 MPH drive by) it is not even close.

Hello Boat People,
This Boat was built by Bayon Boats in Redding CA when Dave Mitchell owned the Co. The boat owned and rigged by Phil Mitsueda owner of Phil's Propeller and Tackle in Redding just next door to where Bayon Boats was. I helped Phil with the rigging and we had some good times on Lake Shasta with the boat. We built that small tunnel for propeller clearance due to the 9 degree v-drive and low shaft angle.
The boat drove and handled well with good performance #'s. The trans had low blocked out and just used 2nd and 3rd and of course reverse.
You could pop the boat on plane in 2nd and when the tach hit about 6,000 shift into 3rd and the hull would jump almost out of the water and accelerate to top speed in seconds. We were having fun!!
It is going to be 100 here tomorow so Dave and I are heading out to Shasta in his 24' Daytona to burn some fuel and get wet. Hence the term Wednesdays"

Thanks,
Bill,

P.S. Just spoke to Phil and he is also coming out for Wet Wednesday, bringing his 21' Daytona that runs real well. I've seen 124 MPH on the GPS Speedo!
