Well pretty much everyone has checked in and a few folks I forgot about, no sign of Paul65 though.
He has valid points when it comes to pretty much every issue we are facing as a country...
Take 10 minutes and ignore the socialist label for a minute and just understand his current and past positions on the issues. Then tell me what he has done that you disagree with. Not a rabbit hole not a trap. He gets it and has convinced a ton of people of that fact.
I am sitting back enjoying the clown car that is the Republican primary...
There is absolutely nothing I can type that can make that group any more comical than they are already.
When the primaries are over I will weigh back in of course. Although if its Hillary Vs. Donald I might have to drink heavily before hitting the keyboard...
Actually, your entire post was the most comical thing I've read all day...!!
Word of caution, be careful drunk posting...you remember what happened the last time I did that!!:yikes
I find it funny that people here try to defend their political party and their personal views by bashing another member's political party and views.
Let me ask you guys, what has your political party done for you? What has Obama done for you? What did George Bush do for you? What did Clinton do for you? etc......
Well I'll give you the answer to save you some time.....absofuckinglutely nothing. They have completely ruined this country and the next president will continue down the same path. Do you guys honestly think we're going to be better off if we have a republican in office or a democrat? They are all the same. This is why it's not worth arguing down here.
I'll just continue being the president for my wife and kids and teach my kids personal accountability and to endure and come out on top no matter who is president and no matter what is going on in our country and hopefully one day they will do the same for their spouses and kids.

So you say you're perfectly comfortable having COTUS appoint two at a minimum and probably three Justices to the SC?
You really think that will have no affect on you and your family?
Oh and this was last nights meeting [emoji19][emoji19][emoji19][emoji19] View attachment 465530

So you are saying that Trump and Bernie, along with Hillary and Cruz, are all exactly the same ?
So you are saying that 'elections don't matter any longer' ?
So you are saying that Republicans will 'hammer' on big business using the EPA ? Obama does .
So you are saying that a Republican will repeatedly go on TV or speak out on inflaming race relations ? Obama does.
So you are saying that we should just go back to our 'cubicles' and let this country and our way of life go wild ?
Just asking ..........
So does Trump. So you are saying that a Republican will repeatedly go on TV or speak out on inflaming race relations ? Obama does.

The Freakonomics dudes had an interesting take on "how much does the president really matter?"
Their research points to "not much"

I'm not saying........it's already happened.

Presidents have great effects on the business climate. Under Bush the the state of Texas prospered as agencies like the EPA weren't making stipulations on coal and clean coal power plants. O came in with his war on coal and plans for multiple units were stopped. This decision took away 1,000's of long term jobs and 10's of thousands shorter term construction jobs. Small businesses lost great opportunities. Under Bush the GoM was full of drilling rigs. After an accident, O stopped all drilling with a moratorium and rigs left for foreign destinations taking jobs all associated business with them.
So in my opinion, 2 WH occupants did effect me and my family.
We adapt to survive, but the need to adapt is often driven by decisions made at the top. And that does indeed include what has been for us or not.
Trump is going to make the national debt great again!
And by great i mean republican voters will stop complaining about it

Trump is not a Conservative, anyone that votes for him is brain damaged.
Will you vote for him if he is the nominee?
Great post AzGeo, this has given me a much better insight and hope on the current thinking I believe of the "silent majority" of US citizens.:thumbsupYour blanket reply is not valid, since Trump is still a private citizen with 'free speech rights', Obama is attacking the coal and oil industries with 'political power', and whom but you would equate those four people in the same 'category' ?
So we have one (above) who seems to have given up all hope with US government and will try to teach his family how to live in this country's future, without his input .
Next we have Mr 530 who 'hearkens back the good old days', over 200 years ago . Unbeknownst to Mr 530, we are living in a Republic, and it has always had change, and will always continue to change, until another form of government takes over this country .
So I see, one who seems to be giving up, along side another who thinks we are traveling back in time to suffer once again this country's former troubles all over again . WE are NOT at the same crossroads as 200 years ago, not even 100 years ago, those people were in possession of COMMON SENSE .
This REPUBLIC has always had a 'socialist element' within it's borders for over 100 years, possibly more . The problem today, is that the 'social fabric' of this country has never been in the place it is today .
Back in the 1920's when the 20th century's most prominent US Progressive, President Wilson was in office (power to make hope and change happen), the majority of US citizens were; poor, worried about war, suffering crop failures, starving, with little 'welfare' to be found . Help came mostly in SOUP LINES, or BREAD LINES and church groups, not EBT CARDS, cell phones, and WIC .
So in today's 'social fabric', we see Progressives demanding that every worker be equal, all pay levels be equal, all genders, trans genders be equal, and 'all citizens be taken care of by the state' . Yet they no not how it's paid for, and they don't want to know, because their DEMANDS will be put back onto their own heads IF they get jobs and work .
Today's 'young voters and workplace outcasts' have had little to do with building this country, and much to do with how social attitudes and polling numbers play out on TV and social media . They also control two major voting blocks, when elections come around .
Have the US voters done a poor job of guiding this country ? YES, political correctness has poisoned our government . But we can take that control back, hopefully before another Progressive gets into the White House, and controls this country to death . Sure, we also need to get rid of the 'large political families and money machines', but retaining, supporting and rebuilding THE REPUBLIC FIRST should be the order of the day . Even God didn't do everything in the first day, so it may take 5 more days to get all the problems corrected . This country is worth it .
Can we go back to 1776 ? NO, today we have so many more types of divisive elements, foolish welfare programs, a false expected level of living standard, the LIE of income equality that drains the desire to work, the stumbling block of 'foolish political correctness' instead of truth, and the most important point of PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY .
This journey must begin with one step, or ONE VOTE . I will not give up, I've lived thru the Obama years and I never want to see the like again .
I fight to uphold the USA as a REPUBLIC, and I yield neither to those who 'give up', those who 'wish to compare to the olden days', and especially those who would promote 'socialism' and cast away this Republic all together .
Trump is going to make the national debt great again!

I won't.

Man I really miss the good ol' days
Man I really miss the good ol' days
And i was right wasn't I.
Nobody gives a shit about the debt, because nobody is willing to do anything to fix it, they can't get on the ticket if they try.
You run on a platform of fiscal reform, the media marginalizes your campaign, they keep you in the corner of the debates with very little exposure, and you get 2% of the vote.
We have the idealistic world
and the pragmatic one.
In the idealistic world we'd be able to have a candidate willing to swallow that pill.
In the pragmatic one we get Trump who exposes just how fucked up the entire system is.
Awe yes the good old days before 5 hundo became "brain damaged", stainmaker was landing haymakers, LilGeo was crushing the keyboard, Reeegie was complaining about the 10 Trillin debt, Raceums last post of sanity, Vicious still had his balls, and even found a couple "GPAU's" from the nut swingers. Yea the good old days of heavy hitters & broken hymens!Trump is not a Conservative, anyone that votes for him is brain damaged.

So a old white democrat can murder 2 black guys and attempt to kill a third before people ask enough questions to arrest him? Asking for a friend.
