Thx Greg! Yup it has a lot of room under the deck - you and I have similar tastes in boats LOL! I was really surprised at how solid this boat is - East Coast inner-liner construction and solid as a rock - That 23' Warlock I had - same thing - when you pound your fist on the side it's like hitting a concrete wall!

Paul I'm in Sacramento:thumbsup

Ya that was a CRAZY day - I thought I'd run the Velocity this Saturday for the DLB St. Patties day run but I'll be out of town -

I've read a lot of good things about Velocity boats.

Like when you're running fast on the pad, the ride supposedly is great even in some snot. Is that true for this 22' hull as well?

Like most boats - if you're running WOT you gotta' be careful! These Velocity's have a fairly shallow transom deadrise and the pad is only on the very back section of the hull - At WOT it's definitely a 'drivers' boat - Mine has stock tabs and I would invest in longer tabs and possibly external steering if I were to keep it, but I'm not a 'hot-rod' driver LOL! - I'll try to post better pics of the boat (motor, drive, interior, cabin areas etc) next week when I get back into town - Thanks!
Oh to answer the rough water question - yes VERY solid ride, but with the narrow beam, delta pad bottom - it'll chine walk on you if you trim too high - Safe-n-Sane driving this boat is 'point-n-shoot' no weird issues.

Your Velocity is a very unique hull. You can balance it on the delta pad in smooth water for the big number or drop the bow in rough water and let her eat the chop. Very versatile. Plus you get a cabin bigger than I have ever seen in a 22 footer so good for the family. I gave you a flip seeing how nice all around it is. $12k is too cheap btw.

Put a Merc Rev4 prop on that and you will pick up 4mph easy on top end.

The other thing I really like are the colors. Most all of them had dated color schemes. This one looks like it could have been built last year. Timeless

Thanks for the 'props' Greg! Ya it's just a really clean boat with subtle graphics! The upholstery is just as nice - I'll need to pull it out of storage and get more pics - Typical SOLID East Coast construction 50 gallon aluminum belly tank, Pirelli flooring, Balsa Cored hull construction, foam composite cored deck - SOLID AS A ROCK!!!! I'd keep it, but I've set my goal to finish a 22' Vaughn resto (sister boat to the blue and white one we did about 2 1/2 years ago) So one toy needs to be sold so I can keep moving forward on my lil' dream boat!
I'll try and get some better pics of the Velocity this weekend and post them - Thanks!:cool

That model 454 will run forever. 330 horsepower that'll run on 87 octane so cheap to operate

Sorry for not getting pics posted - my schedule got a bit crazy this last weekend - I have a couple of pics but
20160120_132438.jpg 20160120_132559.jpg
should be able to update pics later this week

Greg - Yup - it should be a fun and economical boat for the next owner LOL!!

I bought the boat last winter from a guy that was recovering from a nasty divorce - he advised that he had paid mid-30k for the boat and did standard annual maintenance on the boat - Other than that the only changes I'm making to the boat is adding box bases to the two front bucket seats (that's why the passenger seat is missing in the above pic - I'm 5'9" tall and I can't see over the deck because the seats are too low LOL!

Is that a pisser for the ladies in the picture below? It's April 1, time to raise your price to $13k for the Spring. $12k is too cheap for this time of year.

Ha Ha Yup Greg it's a 'boxed' in cubby for the 'shi**er' - there isn't one there - great spot for tool box, anchor and lines. Thanks for the positive comments Cole Trickle! I might have to use the 'reverse' psychology and raise the price LOL!!! It's early in the season up here in Norcal - so I'll just be patient. Ya'lls have a GREAT and SAFE weekend!!!!:thumbsup

The funny thing is if you try and sell a West Coast boat back East, no one knows what it is and won't buy it. If you try and sell an East Coast boat like the Velocity, everyone says "never seen on of those" and won't buy it. Both coasts should OPEN THERE EYES :) Also, I may be wrong but that Velocity was designed by Steve Stepp and built by his team. Man's a legend in the race boat world

I'm just looking for a boat that don't have me pissing blood after a Saturday ride in Parker like my spectra, your right never considered a east boat but I am now:D Oh and one that's in my price range but not something a guy payed 20k for 24 years ago and still wants 20k for it with 500 hours on it, well unless its a schiada.
