This last weekend The third annual Outlaw Nationals did not take place this at the World Famous Sundance Saloon. This year it wasn't a two day event with a Show and Shine on Friday Evening, and Exhibitions Saturday morning from 8:30-1:00 pm.

It was only two years ago that a group of guys got together at Fox's and decided to run a couple of boats. Honestly not that much different than what happens every time Tony is in town right around Sunset. Only difference that year was they were going to bring a few more boats. That year Fox's was so packed that the dock was underwater and there was standing room only along the shoreline.

The following year the guys decided to move it to Sundance for a variety of reasons, but the main one being that the venue would be better suited to what wasn't going on. I'll never forget that year because it was the coldest Thanksgiving at the river that I can remember. I got there early, and thought to myself nobody is going to brave this weather to come out to the bar. Less than an hour later it was standing room only when the first boat made its pass.

This year was no different (except the weather was perfect!) and thousands of people piled into Sundance, packing all three levels of the bar all looking to get the best view of their favorite boats run. For this one weekend a year (in winter no less!) the Sundance Saloon was reminiscent of it's glory days.

Because this is a "Non Event / Event" I went down "unofficially" armed with my mighty I phone and did my best not to cover it. Even the security guard made some off color comment that if I was going to get out on the point to get the good shots, I should probably bring something more "professional" than a phone. (To put his mind at ease, I'll bring the whole crew next year for drinks, and if they happen to get some content of a boat going by, we'll put it together)

Stick with this thread as we will go through all the photo's and videos of every boat running, in order to give you the Best "Non Coverage of this Non Event."

Here is the First of Several Videos to Come!!

Note Parts 2 & 3 will be added in this first post!

Didn't this thread have a bunch of still pics in it yesterday or did I have too many Four Locos for breakfast?

It did.. I wanted to reformat the thread and put it together in a much more organized fashion and ended up getting about halfway through it and just decided to start over.

I will have all the pics up here shortly, and in an article format.

Pictures from the early am before he event got started.

The first thing Insaw when I was walking in was Wayne in K-50 pulling into Sundance.

Caught a pretty cool picture of the roof rack on his truck in front of the Sundance sign.

He didn’t like the original down pedal so Ron at Bad Attitude Machined this one for him. Came out pretty nice.

Heading down to the docks you can see the crowd already starting to fill in, in anticipation of the boats running

And across the river you can see spectators starting to show up at the sandbar.

It was right around this point when there was going to be a small break in the entertainment (aka Wayne got pitched). So I walked out front to see what was going on abd check on a box of shirts I had left out there.

I was surprised by how many people were out front.

It was a great nonevent!! So awesome to see Sundance filled to the rim and bustin at the seams. Joy & her staff did a great job. Kitchen was turnin out food all day as fast as they could. All the bartenders were bustin a move to keep up. Saw some great boats run that set up perfect. My buddies & I (Parker Foil Crew) were stoked to be invited to show off a little for the crowd. Thanks to Joy Cervenka & Tony Scarlata for the invite.

The first 2 videos were good...the last one was not real clear when I watched it.

It was probably still processing or your internet connection was slow at the time and they picked a lower resolution. Try it again it should be the same as the others

Either that or it uploaded in SD?
