Looking great Brandin....

Thanks Ted...been a fun project so far I have always enjoyed working with wood and have learned alot over the years....I'm almost decent these days...lol

Would love a dedicated wood shop one day with a big table saw, router table, etc with dust collection....

I was looking to do something like this, see pic above for my Havasu garage. I would like to color match the rolling tool bases with some metal cabinets.
I have been on the hunt for a pic of what I want, but I’m in no hurry to execute my plan.

Your garage looks great, and the use of space shows that a lot of planning went into the design!

Thanks I’m a firm believer in having a home for everything and like a clean garage.

Those look like husky or harbor freight rolling boxes. There in the $200-300 range a price depending on sales. The harbor freight ones actually get better reviews.

I like the metal work bench base...unfortunately I’m better with wood than metal at this point...lol

More headway... faced and bench top now done. Need to sand and stain the top and paint the cabinet and make some doors to match the rest of the garage.

Peg board installed on the right side of the bench and made bottoms for the lower portion of the bench.

I sold the truck almost 2 years ago. The g8 basically took it's spot and then the camaro SS was added for fun.

Unfortunately vettes don't work for me with the family...not that I could afford the white one anyways...lol

Banged out a couple doors and routered the edge to match all the other cabinet doors in the garage.

Looks awesome- like the way you built out your bench. I have one that I built in my early 20s that I have dragged around. It is crude in design lol but I refuse to part with it lol.

Added some black grid wall on the wall above the work bench.

Filled the gaps in the work bench with filler and need to sand it down and stain the workbench black.

Did two more black grid wall panels laterally on the other side of the garage. Not sure I will store anything over there but it just looks cool...lol

I like the grid wall. Looks super clean and gives you more hanging options than shelving.

It’s taken a lot of years and redos to get to this point. The flooring and the drop down ladder with a fully enclosed attic were bar none the best things I have done.

Still have a ways to go but it’s getting close.

Took a solid 4 nights after work to sand down the work bench and stain it. Really happy with the color.

That bench looks great.

I’d love to do the attic deal but I’d have to redo the entire ceiling structure of my garage. I only have 2x4 beams every 4 feet, and my rafter storage now is probably pushing it. My OCD engineer friend had a similar garage and re did his garage rafters and has like 5000 pounds of crap up there now

My floor is too uneven to put down any kind of flooring and I don’t want to spend the coin to grind and then level it. It is a royal PITA to set up and align the race car :)

I did just get another 46 inch rolling workbench for more storage, but need a cabinet and storage upgrade. Maybe this winter.

My next house will have a 3 car garage at minimum.
