You look at Bozo and realize he is way to scary for today’s Barney generation.

Saturday:

Bozo, Captain Kangaroo, Johnny Weissmuller Tarzan and a Jethro Bowdin size bowl of Captain Crunch.

Dang, I thought Bozo had died a long time ago. How many Bozos (or Bozi) are there?

Larry Harmon owned the rights to the Bozo thing, he did his own animation, had a local show here in so cal and licensed world wide others to be Bozo. Even Willard Scott was a Bozo.

My cousin was on that show, too! In a military uniform from his grade school! I’m guessing early 60’s.

Poor bastard, I was shipped of to military school half way through the 4th grade, '66.

Sorry OR, I’m not that up on the Bozi :D

Me neither, I just remember when Harmon died there was a big article in the paper telling the story of how he ownd the franchise. Having grown up with him on the tube (I was more of a Sheriff John kid) I thought Bozo was just a so cal thing.

I also remember a cartoon show in the 60s called "the Pancake Man". He was played by the same actor that did Otis the town drunk on the Andy Griffith show.

Cartoon shows Beachcomber Bill and Engineer Bill too!

Me too, we sing Put Another Candle on your birthday cake, instead of the old standard!
