The Lincoln thread had me thinking those Continentals from the 1960's are really sweet rides. Usually four doors make the price go down in classics. Got me thinking what are cool cars to you and why?

I like early 60's cars best. Chevy pickups, the Corvette, Impala, Nova, Chevelle, etc.

If I had to choose a time for cars it would be 1967.

Did you happen to take that bad boy to the Fabulous Ford's at Knott's Berry Farm Last Weekend???

No, unfortunately I had a family commitment that kept me away. My favorite car event (non driving event) of the year.

My favorite car as a kid was a 69 chevelle, built one when I was 16, redoing it every since over and over again. My list is incredibly long of what I like, but the one that makes me most upset I will never be able to afford are either aston martins, db5 or dbs.

Also, for good measure, 60 Cadillac would be my low and slow.

Id like the Aston DB5, but now they are million dollar cars. Even if I could afford one, a million for a car or boat is just too much money!

60's and 70's muscle cars are fun but I love 20's and 30's Packard's, Duesenberg's and Pierce Arrow's. Just a lot of workmanship and class

My next "cool car" will most likely be a '32, they are a Hot Rodders HOT ROD for sure.
Drive one first. All 32's are a 106" wheelbase which makes for easy parking, but most have a large truck/suv tire out back for that look and the combo makes for a bumpy ride. I like it, but a lot of our customers buy them and expect them to be comparable to a modern car. If you a local, I can run you around in ours.

We did a small amount of work on this car. IMO it’s the perfect cruiser, with LS/overdrive and Heidts independent front and rear it’s got tons of power, is reliable and cruises comfortably at highway speeds.

Yeah, I know, not the best riding. Thats why I went for the 55 for a "family" cruiser first... The 32 will be for me and my son. I have a friend that has a 31 Sedan, 32 Truck (all stock running gear) and 33 Phaeton. The 31 and 33 are great for bar hoping or short drives.... but anything longer than 20/30 minutes you start to feel it. His Sedan rides pretty nice, but I can see how a long drive would take a toll on you.

Air kuld Porsches and VWs

I worked at Chick Iverson (Porsche VW Audi) Newport Beach in high school and have been hooked ever since.

...Gary Emory has been around this week...While we were at dinner last night...(in case you don’t know about it)...he mentioned a high end Porsche event in Torrence...Not sure if its Sat or Sun or both???...Apparently Rod and Gary and crew are trailering a number of the Emory Motor Sports creations...for show and tell..

...So at dinner last night Gary Emory was trying to talk another friend of ours who we call the Judge (attorney/judge)...trying to talk him into coming down and checking out the new Emory Motor Sports facility...
...I’m not sure if the Judge got the tour today...but the irony would be if since the Judge has a ‘58??? Speedster in his 25 or so varried collection he decided to commission Rod to make an Outlaw of it..,hmmm???...not so sure that would be a great idea...but hey...it’s not my car???...
