The 87 Banshee.
Seat cover has a torn corner, it’s seen some action, lol.
I’m trying to figure a creative way to fix the section hurt without replacing the entire seat cover.
That seat cover was sewn by the late Paul Stratton, in 1995.
I’d like to keep as much of Paul’s work as I can.
So far I’m thinking replace the torn area each side in a small 1ish inch arch, mimicking the arch of the seat shape at the torn area between horizontal line with the rear fender section and parallel to the gas tank in red, maybe red ostrich.
It’s not too clean in those low light pics but it’s old school pearl white like what was in boat interiors circa 1995.
There are just enough red accents onthr bike to make it work.
But, I’m open to suggestions.
