This boat is the latest from schiada and as always they change things up and it only gets better and better. I’m sure there’s a million things I’m not seeing but I liked how they incorporated the steering and fuel lines into the ski tow.

The trailer is pretty interesting, it’s a tandem but it’s a spread axle. It’s a big trend in enclosed trailers and custom haulers. It would look weird with a single fender so they went with singles. The black metal will end up with custom sea deck on it.

I’m looking forward to seeing what it looks like when it’s done and the boat is on it.

That's unreal. What are the two fittings on top of the ski-tow block, aft of the pylon?

Who built the trailer? You also don't say who built the motor but I guess if you don't know already, then you just don't know enough.:D

Beautiful work all around. I love the colors.

And yes swimsteps, why not? I guess not all need them but I like them, I actually get in the water.

IMO it appears that the steps will be too high out of the water and will make it more difficult to get in, their also mounted in the same location where we step over the transom to get in, the plates alone work just fine.
I'm a fan of the color combo as well ;)

I hear ya. My 240 has plates and swim steps but my steps are a little less than flush with depth of plates. These look to protrude beyond plate depth by a few inches which could, as you say, make it more difficult to get in and out. I could do with just a plate too but my wife loves the steps to put her really nice butt on when she's getting in and out of the water. Yeah, I'm pretty committed to keeping her happy. :D I got twin turbos she got twin swim steps.:D

A lot of indicators of Bear on this trailer. I like it. Ooh is that a brake pump I see too? I don't see the battery:confused: but electric over hydraulic on a 21'? Must be the new trend instead of triples. I have it on my 240 so who am I to say it's overkill.:D

I agree on the steps. We just use the cav plates. My wife does complain about not having a swim step though. I have a full length one that’s all ball milled off my 24. But I refuse to mount it on anything.

judging by where most 21's sit in the water...they are probably right at, or just under the water. im not that big of a fan of swim stems either, but there are those times where i think they would be nice to have. my buddy has them on his 22 that Prime is building. and it looks pretty sick the way they did them.

what’s the reasoning with the plate pads out towards the tip of the plate as they come to center? Will create less movement than the outsides, what is being accomplished/avoided? Or will there be a large gullwing adjusted into it?

I don’t think there is any reasoning with the plate pads other than to keep all the turnbuckles in perfect alignment. Most plates are longer in the middle and shorter on the sides so the end of the plate appears to be equal length with every pad. Where these plates are for sure extended and appear to be same length off the transom on the middle and sides of the boat so that’s why you are getting that tapered look on the pate pads. At least that’s what I gathered.

Wow...Yeah I should have thought that through first before posting. Looks exaggerated on a nice polished setup

Here are the swim steps on my vector
Once U get a few bodies in it and hanging out the back there a little lower

Also the stuffing box I had 1 of those kinda scared me cause u could pull back on the boot and water would coming gushing in so I went wit the D21 for now. Any thoughts on these???
