I like this guy already. Translated first post: "Hey fuckers, I know an inmate so I'm grandfathered in. Look forward to the camaraderie, now give me your money." Maybe @mobldj doubled down on profiles?

I've ran at 175-180 for the past 5 years so I don't have any left over skin in the game. Before that I weighed 210 following breaking my legs independently 2 years to the day apart. Best of luck to you guys and hope you can make it stick.

Haha great translation King295. Take it easy on those legs man

Competitive tip for the weigh in, your weight can swing 2-4 lbs from night to morning.. You will want to weight in at night.. Preferrably after having gone to a Teppan place with stretchy pants on and loaded up on rice.. Then drink a gallon of water and try not to piss yourself before standing on the scale. :) You can get an extra 2 lbs on that SOB if your motivated.. ;)

Weighed myself yesterday morning.
Realized I hadn't looked up the code word.
Figured I'd do it after I got home in the evening and flat out got busy and forgot.
Joe did say no exceptions so I guess my $100 is safe this year.

Public Service Announcement...

So Long Tortillas, Costco Is Selling Cheese Wraps
1507063699-de17-1546980756.jpg

Yes, CHEESE WRAPS (just cheese, no tortilla)

You could use lettuce or cabbage as a low-carb tortilla alternative for your next taco night...or you could swap in something actually delicious (and still low-carb!) that will add flavor and consistency to your meal. Related: Costco is now selling cheese wraps that will undoubtedly take your homemade burritos to the next level.

The Folios cheese wraps come in three flavors: cheddar, Parmesan, and Jarlsberg. They are naturally lactose and gluten free with no starch, wheat, flour, fillers, or added sugars. Do I hear cheers from the keto-dieters in the crowd?

Folios suggests crisping the wraps in the microwave and forming a bowl (imagine eating a caesar salad out of a cheese bowl!). You could also make the wrap into chips to crumble over soups and salad. I'd personally use the wraps for a high-protein turkey wrap. Or a burrito. Of course.

Some Instagram users have spotted the cheese wraps at Costco, though they're currently available from other stores around the country as well. One Costco shopper found the Parmesan ones in the cheese section by the dairy and meat: "I think they're super yummy and they work well cold."

I did weigh in at night, but i didn't load up. Honestly - im so fat right now, i felt like I was gonna pop and didn't need any help lol. Every time i gain weight like this it gets worse as I get older, this time its real shitty. Hopefully this will be my last weight loss challenge....and posting this so I can feel real bad next year if I read this old thread and it's not

Good luck to all.

I think I ended up second last year and got my money back. I've been eating good for the last 6 weeks and don't think I have enough to lose, to make a run at the title. Plus I'm planning to quit chewing next week, I'm sure that won't help weight loss.

Start off the day with some healthy bacon and an organic avocado.
For lunch a nice healthy grass-fed ribeye with some organic asparagus. This diet things not too bad. :)

Last time we had this kind of participation it was 2017 and the group lost 340 pounds, but A LOT of people just weighed in and then gave up after the 2nd weigh in. If everyone sticks to it then we could easily go over 400.

This is going to be a lot harder than I thought. I bulked up almost purposely in December thinking the extra weight I gained would come of fairly easy...not so much. I had a bunch of people say that they quit drinking and the weight flew off...not so much in my case...10 miserable days of not drinking and I'm gaining weight. Also my motivation to get out and exercise is at an all time low.:(

Just do the Keto diet and drink Vodka/Soda........the weight will peal off and the diet is not that bad.

Hope each and every one of you guys have success. Don't get discouraged when you hit a plateau, it just means you're doing something right.....just keep at it.
.
Remember, it's about your health and not just a few Benji's in your pocket.

Gents -
I was really looking forward to this but first my laptop took a huge dump and then my Wife lost her job. What a week. So needless to say the $100 will be spent on a higher priority. But I'll be rooting you guys on from the sidelines.

Made some low carb chili today. If anyone's interested in the recipe it's called butter Bob's famous chili.

This is not going well for me...I've been trying since the 1st of the year and I've lost exactly 0 pounds. And on top of that I quit drinking so I'm completely miserable.

And who was the genius that decided to have a weigh-in 2 days after the Super Bowl? Why not have it on Feb. 1st or 2nd?
