Ok....I'll be the outlier here. I really liked your firs rendering, only change I would have suggested would be to tie those orange stripes on the back into the orange stripes at the top in the upholstery and make them the same thickness. Good looking rig across the board...awesome.

Thanks everyone for your input, it helped a lot and we incorporated some of the suggestions into our decisions.

My wife and I dropped the boat off at DCB Monday, what a great experience we had! We had a bunch of staff in the boat with us working through every detail of the interior refresh and in a few hours had made all our decisions. Also decided to update to LED lighting, replace the stereo and add sea-dek to the back of the outdrives and swim step which will really help getting in and out of the boat. DCB had a proposal to us next day on all the changes and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the costs were. I spot checked some of the high ticket items and they were absolutely in line. Bottom line it was a really fun process emptying my wallet. Looking forward to seeing the transformation, 3-4 weeks DCB will have it.

On another topic, got to see some absolutely awesome builds in process, too many to list but one standout was an M33 being built, wow...... I cannot believe how many boats DCB has in process, pretty amazing.

Did you happen to see Nick's 32 that is being redone?

I saw it in there but did not look inside or ask about what was going on, I was pretty overwhelmed (sensory overload) by how much they had going on, cant believe how many boats were in progress, being updated or being serviced.

Ha I understand. He is doing the same thing as you, after closing in the bow and doing a full cap.

View attachment 730483 View attachment 730484 View attachment 730485 View attachment 730486 Carlos at DCB is an amazing guy...I had side panels, and center display pod made locally. We sent DCB all the interior, and a few weeks later DONE.

Touching base on faded alcantar...I had interior ceramic coated before installation. Not sure if it will help, just FYI.

Carlos is one of if not thee most highly respected interior guys in the industry. DCB is really lucky he came back after he left Cigarette. only other shop I can think of that's doing the caliber of work Carlos does is Fineline in Florida.

All done. Thanks RDP for all the input! We are really happy with the results that Carlos and team at DCB produced transforming our boat to modern times.

Such a nice boat. Great job on the interior refresh. I really like the Fusion Audio and have used them for a while. Easy to see while under way. The Alcantera stays cool in Havasu heat and wears surprisingly well. Congrats - awesome.

Don,
This looks amazing. I love the hexagon stitch. Can't wait to see your boat this summer, definitely my favorite in Willow Valley.

Looks bitchin....one of my favorite 32 ever ...

I just dont care for the hex stitching. Why I am not sure. Probably me. It just draws my attention right away.

Would not keep me from buying the boat..

I happen to agree, it has too much hexagon stitching..... Its my only regret on what we choose. If I had to do it over again would have done that a bit differently.

Your boat came out amazing! Congrats! When DCB finished with ours it felt like an entirely new boat, and it smells like a new boat (that was worth the price alone!).
