Our reservation for father's day weekend is coming up, we have a 4-spot peninsula for Friday - Tuesday at Park Moabi / Pirates Cove. Been a few years since we did the RV thing at the river, looking forward to it. Now.......Gotta hustle to get the motorhome cleaned up and all the stuff packed up after work this week. Should be fun. Anyone else up this coming weekend?

I’ll be there for the weekend.

I’m meeting joe at the docks at topock for some “words”

Lol
We’re gonna head to your house big bore

I think we should make a "docktagon". All words will be exchanged back at the docktagon.

If you go to my house say hi to the renters, ask them if I can come grab some ice lol

That's a good idea. Any particular type that works best? I'll hit depot today!

We’re at Nautical Friday thru Sunday. Got all 3 kids to make it plus my dad and his wife. Should be a great weekend.
Not sure yet but we may launch at Pirates and cruise up instead of driving the truck up.

Never heard of this. Install on inside or outside? Is it the reflective style with the silver cover over the bubbles? I’m assuming just to reflect the sun, or does it make that much difference insulating as well?

I bought 2 roles of this stuff from Home Depot and cut pieces out to fit all of my windows along with the windshield and it makes a big difference. Install inside- I cut mine pretty close to the size of the windows so they stay in place pretty well but the mini blinds also help keep it in place.

Tape-https://www.homedepot.com/p/Reflect...PIPHorizontal2_rr-_-100012574-_-100318556-_-N

These also make a big difference in the vents (kitchen and bathroom)- https://www.homedepot.com/p/Camco-Vent-Insulator-45192/205808407?cm_mmc=Shopping|G|Base|All-Products|All|All|PLA|71700000014585962|58700001236285396|92700010802552406&gclid=CjwKEAjw__fnBRCNpvH8iqy4xl4SJAC4XERPebDczwpfSBbyLWHX9yXTxlGqJ2IKMI6gmch5x67V9hoCC3Tw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

We have a mesh screen on outside of windshield and drivers side window. Then reflectix inside plus pull down shades. It really makes a difference if sun is directly on your windows

We’ll be there. Staying in a willow Valley. We’ll cruise down river and hang out at Pirates for a bit, then probably head over to Topoc for lunch and hangout before we head back up river.

My motorhome came with those mesh screens and I had no idea they helped with the heat. I am going to put them on this weekend.
They keep the glass from transferring heat into coach. The screen then the bubble wrap really cuts down the temp up front in the coach.

Your a banker just add another a/c LOL

But the silver reflective wrap on the windows helps keep the heat out same for the vents piece of foam helps insulate too

Yep. We have reservations at Topock for breakfast on Sunday and were planning on going to Pirates after.

I love topock food but I was pretty.disapointed in the fathers day brunch. Waited 1 hour to get bacon. So I just ate eggs and sausage.

As for Father’s Day,

I’m already here on dry land. No peninsula or dock to meet on sadly.

Yeah, we talked about it and considered doing Springs, but by the time we finish, it would be tough to get a good spot at 3 Dunes. Just going to feed kids ahead of time.

I was thinking by time I pull into 3 dunes on Sunday afternoon everyone should be packing up to go home, but schools may be out, peeps may hang longer than I first thought (Monday and Tuesday might look slightly different this week).

We will be up at our family place in Mohave Valley tomorrow @ 8:00am until Sunday afternoon, about a 1/2 mile up river past the needles bridge on the AZ side (Across From Rainbow RV)
